Colonia Guadiana is reportedly one of the safest neighborhoods in San Miguel. It is close to shops and restaurants on Ancha San Antonio including the organic market, Mercado Sano which hosts the popular Farmers' Market every Saturday.
Colonia Guadiana is an easy 15 to 20 minute scenic walk to Centro, yet its far enough away from Centro to avoid Centro's noise. Beautiful Parque Benito Jaurez is a 5 to 10 minute scenic walk, as is the lovely Rosewood Hotel.
