The compound is a funky, artsy, quiet and peaceful place with a garden that you can enjoy. It's perfect for someone that wants to stay away from the traffic and hassle of downtown. Santa Julia is what you would call a "Mexican family" neighborhood, there's lot of little tienditas (little shops), plus tortillerias and carnicerias. It's 10min away from the Mercado de San Juan de Dios where they sell all kind of things. It's a 5min walk to Tacos Don Felix, a great restaurant in Independencia. The compound is also 10min away by car from the hot springs.
Everyone in the compound is is pretty quiet and mellow. Looking for same type of tenants (no partiers please). If you are an artist, or work online or are taking classes, this is the perfect place for you to get inspired, create and relax.
